Lorraine is a community college writing instructor with a hopeless addiction to creative endeavor. When not writing or teaching, she can probably be found knitting, sewing, cooking, painting, gardening or playing the drums.
In her day job, she has the opportunity to work with a student population diverse in age, race, economic status, and linguistic and national origin. These experiences help shape her writing, along with her decade-plus experience teaching at both the high school and college levels, including time spent teaching in Brazil, Korea and Taiwan.
Lorraine lives near Seattle with her husband, son, daughter, dog, cat and several dozen trees. She has degrees in history, education, and music from Whitworth University and a Master’s in Education from the University of Washington.
She is currently seeking representation.
